Sean Oakley

Sound Designer

Sean moved from the Great Plains of the Midwest to California to pursue a career as a film director in 2004.  He attended Chapman University, where he received an arbitrary B.F.A in film production and, like so many film students, discovered job opportunities outside of directing.  Since 2007, he has worked as a production sound mixer on a number of indie features, shorts, commercials, and webseries.  His sound work in the webseries world includes such shows as "The Guild", "The Legend of Neil", "Squatters", and "Video Game Reunion." He often oversees many projects from production audio to the final mix.  Road Less Traveled is Sean's first feature documentary in which he has supervised the post production audio.  Countless hours of motorcycle engine sounds first passed through his ears in preparing just the right soundscape for this heartfelt journey across America.
